On clothies, they do about 2500-3500 melee, with the occassional 7.5k Troglodyte Smash. If you're daring and/or can do enough damage in a short period of time, you can take on the other side as well. If you can handle the quick respawn and you can manage not to fall off, it seems like a fairly decent place to do farming without going further away. I've had periods where I picked up 10 cloths in about 2 minutes, and also went about 5 minutes with only like 4-5 cloths. The embersilk drops 1-2 at a time, up to 45 silver per kill. If you can manage to pick 'em off slowly, it's pretty much a consistant flow of respawns (I wanna say they respawn in a minute, if not shorter). In the northwest part of that little pillar, there's a group of 5 of them.
Only problem is that they're close together and they'll likely come at you in a big group. There are quite a bit of them and seem to spawn very quickly. This might not be a problem for those who only have slow mounts.Comment by JeroStoneyAt the Verlok Stand (roughly around) 73, 26 there are the Verlok Grubthumbers and Verlok Shroomtenders on a Pillar up in the air and down below. Dustwallow Marshĭustwallow Marsh is also a great place to farm Goldthorn, but if you only pick up Goldthorn and nothing else, you will finish one lap in the zone too fast and you will have to wait for the herbs to respawn. I marked the tunnel where you can go to the other zone with a red X on both maps. I tested this method with a 310% flying mount and I could farm Goldthorn all day long. But if you have a fast mount, most of the herbs won't respawn after you do a full lap in one of the zones, and this means you will have to wait a lot.įortunately, these two zones are next to each other, so you can just move between them, and this way no matter how fast you gather the herbs, they will always respawn in the other zone. These two zones are good places to farm Goldthorn.

Goldthorn can be found on top of small hills and it's recommended to have Herbalism 150, so you won't get any herb fragments.
